Accelerating Well-Being

We treat the trigger behind cognitive decline.

Nulyn Science is deploying proven medicines that interrupt the neuroinflammatory cascade driving postoperative, chemotherapy-induced, and Alzheimer's induced cognitive decline.

The Science

A shared pathway.
Tractable targets.

Post-operative decline, chemo-related impairment, and Alzheimer's look like different problems. The biology says otherwise: each is initiated by the same neuroinflammatory cascade upstream of synaptic injury. Treat that shared trigger, and one mechanism reaches all three.

Our compounds interrupt this shared cascade upstream of synaptic injury. The full molecular detail — targets, signalling, and data — lives on the science page.

Our Approach

Treat the trigger.

Most efforts to address cognitive decline target its late-stage, behavioral indicators. We treat the trigger: the neuroinflammatory mechanism upstream of synaptic injury — the most tractable, most underexplored target across all three indications.

By leveraging key mechanistic insights and the neuropenetrative characteristics of our lead asset, NS-001, Nulyn Science has set out to improve standards of care for long overlooked conditions, and to address the unmet needs of these widespread indications.

One cascade initiates cognitive decline after surgery, after chemotherapy, and in Alzheimer's. We're building the drugs to interrupt it.

Pipeline

One mechanism.
Three programmes.

We validate the mechanism first in acute cognitive decline — clear triggers, defined windows of intervention — then extend it to chronic neurodegenerative disease with NS-003, our protected combination compound.

Why Repurposing

A faster, de-risked path to patients.

Both NS-001 and NS-002 are already approved, with established human safety records. The 505(b)(2) repurposing pathway lets us move on validated biology — far faster, at far better odds, than developing a new molecule from scratch. Our novel compound NS-003 combines the two — giving us strong reason to expect it inherits their safety profiles and high tolerability.

Time to market
6–10 yr
via 505(b)(2), versus 12–18 years for a traditional new molecule.
Probability of success
~30%
approval odds on the repurposing path, versus roughly 5% traditionally.
Foundation

FDA-approved, repositioned — with new composition-of-matter IP filed.
